New Delhi: Country’s ace squash players Saurav Ghoshal and Dipika Pallikal will take part in the Case Swedish Open to be held in Link?ping, Sweden from February 4-7.
Unseeded Ghoshal will open his campaign against defending champion and top seed Nick Matthew of England in the USD 60,000 PSA World Tour event while third seeded Pallikal will take on unseeded Lovisa Forstadius of Sweden in the opening round of the USD 6,000 WISPA tournament.
The championship also will witness the likes of James Willstrop, Stewart Boswell and Amr Shabana in the men’s event.
“This year’s championship is the biggest PSA Tour event in Europe outside England,” said tournament director Fredrik Johnson.
“In addition to the men’s championship, we will be holding a WISPA World Tour event as well as an all comers tournament at the Squash Center with around 250 entries,” Johnson added.
