New Delhi: Mohun Bagan midfielder Lukram
James Singh and Mahindra striker Mohammed Rafi were the two
new faces inducted in the 24-member players' list announced by
the AIl India Football Federation for a 20-day 2011 Asia Cup
preparatory camp in Dubai starting Sunday.
All the 24 footballers would assemble here on Frioday and
leave for Dubai on Saturday.
Except for James Singh and Rafi, all the selected players
were on expected line as they have been regular members of
national camps under coach Bob Houghton.
Meanwhile, Mahindra striker Sushil Kumar Singh, who is a
member of the senior team and played Nehru Cup last year, was
among the 29 probables named for the AFC Challenge Cup
preparatory camp to commence in Pune from Friday.
Sushil was the skipper of the Under-23 side that won the
SAF Cup in Dhaka in last December.
Subhash Singh, who also attended the coaching camp for
last year's Nehru Cup, has been named among probables for AFC
Challenge Cup.
JCT midfielder Baljeet Singh Sahni, who missed the SAF
Cup due to a road accident, also returned to the AFC Challenge
Cup camp.
