London: Manchester City's Slovakian international Vladimir Weiss has signed a contract until 2012, the Premier League club said on Thursday.
"He has all the attributes that electrify crowds and that can turn matches. He has shown he has the temperament for big games and we look forward to his further development," City manager Mark Hughes told the club's website.
The 20-year-old winger, whose father Vladimir coaches the Slovakian national side, has yet to start a league match for City but scored his first goal against Arsenal in the League Cup last month.
