Bangalore: Top seed and local favourite Poojashree Venkatesha advanced to the final of the USD 10,000 QuestNet ITF Women’s Open here today, with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Israel’s Keren Shlomo.
Poojashree wrapped up the match in 85 minutes.
In the title round on Saturday, she will meet Dalila Jakupovic of Slovakia, a 6-3, 6-4 winner over India’s Sanaa Bhambri in the other semifinal that lasted 72 minutes.
