Jammu: The Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir
Legislative Assembly Mohammad Akbar Lone Saturday asked the
government to address the concerns of opposition members
regarding planning and development of their respective
constituencies.
Intervening during a reply by Minister of State for
Finance and Planning Manohar Lal Sharma, the Speaker said
there was no scope for doubting the intentions of Chief
Minister Omar Abdullah who is sincerely striving for uniform
development of the state.
However, the government should make efforts to take the
members along in every respect of development as it would help
achieve set targets more effectively, he said.
