Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan condoled the death of the two pilots of Navy's Surya Kiran aircraft that crashed during an air show here on Wednesday.

"I am shocked and grieved to know about the tragic death of two pilots of the Naval aircraft Surya Kiran that crashed today during the India Aviation 2010 show at Begumpet Airport," he said in his condolence message.

"I convey my heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family members of the pilot and co-pilot. I wish for the speedy recovery of those injured at the place of incident," the Governor said.

The Kiran MK-II plane, which was part of the 'Sagar Pawan' aerobatic team participating in a display at the show, crashed into a three-storeyed residential building.

Pilots Commander S K Maurya and Lt Commander Rahul Nair were killed in the crash. One unidentified civilian also died in the mishap, while two other civilians were injured, police said.
