Andhra transfers nine IAS officers

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government on Sunday transferred nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers as part of the bureaucratic reshuffle.

Shekhar Prasad Singh has been appointed Principal Secretary of Information and Communications Technology Department while M T Krishna Babu has been appointed the Chairman and Managing Director of AP Central Power Distribution Company Limited.

G Sai Prasad has been made the vice-chairman of AP Housing Board and D Vara Prasad appointed as Collector of Nizamabad district.

In the other postings, D Sambasiva Rao has been made Secretary-Secondary Education, K Sunitha, Director-Youth Services, D Kadmiel Commissioner- Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA), R Subba Rao Secretary-SC, ST Commission and Yogita Rana has been made Deputy Commissioner-Commercial Taxes, according to an order issued by Chief Secretary S V Prasad.
