New Delhi: A Delhi Court today adjourned to Thursday the hearing on the bail application of six persons chargesheeted by CBI for their alleged role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots cases.

Special CBI Judge P S Teji adjourned the matter after CBI's special prosecutor Y K Saxena submitted that he has yet to go through the bail applications and the case files.

The Court was to hear arguments on the anticipatory bail applications of Peru, Mahendra Yadav, Brahmanand Gupta, Balwant Khokhar, Krishna Khokhar and Ved Prakash.

The Court, meanwhile, asked the counsel for the accused to file the other applications relating to bail till tomorrow so that further hearing could be conducted smoothly.

The accused are required to take bail as they have been issued summons by a court after taking cognisance on the chargesheet filed against them.
