Balrampur: A BSP leader was shot at by two persons allegedly over a political rivalry in Kotwali area, police said here on Thursday.
Liyaqat Ali was shot at with a country-made pistol allegedly by Baljeet Pandey and Lalla Yadav in Pehelwara locality late last night, they said.
Ali was taken to the district hospital where his condition was stated to be stable, police said, adding one of the accused Baljeet had been arrested.
