Kolkata: The Congress, heading the UPA
government, and its ally Trinamool Congress, were playing a
"got-up game" over the hike in prices of petrol and diesel, a
senior West Bengal CPI(M) leader alleged tonight.
"They have an understanding with each other. Trinamool
Congress protesting against the fuel price hike is a shame,"
CPI(M) leader Shyamal Chakraborty told reporters.
Stating that the the CPI(M) was committed to tackling
Maoists, he claimed that the Trinamool Congress and Maoists
were colluding since the days of Nandigram.
