Nagpur: Nagpur Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar has been transferred to New Delhi, official sources said.

Kumar handed over the charge to additional commissioner, on Tuesday but there is no official word as to who will succeed him as head of the Nagpur revenue division which looks after the work of six collectorates of Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Wardha, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli.

Kumar, an IAS officer from 1993 batch, had joined as Nagpur divisional commissioner in July 2009.

He had barely worked here for ten months before seeking deputation to the national capital.
