DTC to launch online system of complaint registration

New Delhi: Aiming to improve its grievance redressal mechanism, the Delhi Transport Corporation will next week launch an online system where commuters will be able to register their complaints.

Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said the effort is part of initiatives to improve passenger services by the DTC, which runs the world's largest fleet of CNG vehicles.

Lovely said to encourage performance, the Transport department has also decided to institute best conductor and best driver of the year awards.

The department will also award the depots maintaining highest standard of efficiency and discipline.

The DTC has been modernising its bus fleet to offer better comfort to commuters and it is expected to have a fleet of 5,000 low floor swanky buses before commencement of next year's Commonwealth Games. Already over 1,000 low floor buses have been inducted into the DTC fleet.

Facing hardships due to diversion of buses route no 39,307 and 309 between 5 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. which are diverted to Delhi Sachivalya. The only route during this period is availble to ITO (Revenue Building/Police HQ) is GL-22 for New Delhi Railway Station Gate No. 2. There is no certainity of this bus. People stands for a long time which some times exceeds more than an hour. Request to increase the frequency in between 5.30 to 6.30 p.m. or if possible allow route No. 39, 307 and 309 to ITO opposite Police HQ an oblige the commuters for travelling to New Delhi Railway Station/Ajmeri Gate.

Respacted sir, i am living in sarup vihar colony 2 km away from the bhalswa dairy guruduara there are tomany phat-phat sewa and gramin sewa available from sarup vihar to jahangir puri `ITI` and they have charge `12rs` per passanger. Only one ROUT NO.447 FROM BHALSWA GURUDUARA SO I REQUEST PLEASE INCREASE THIS ROUT NO. TO SARUP VIHAR OR CREATE A ROUT THROUGH JAHANGI PURI. THOUSAND OF PEOPLE TRAVLING THROUGH THIS WAY DAILY. TAKE SOME STEP ``SOON`` ``THANK YOU``

Repeated reminders regarding improvement towards bus services have proved failure. After a long wait a bus comes but packed with commuters,that too a red one.Why cant there be green buses on this route.People , majority users are from a poor and backward colony like Nihal Vihar and offcourse Senior Citizens .Will some responsible and hounerable chairman look into the matter and see that a colony once used to have 14 number of routes now despite of users being maybe 20 times in numbers buses routes have been decreased to two WHY SO?

I was travel in bus. and in our side only one route is available in the way this is RT340.. thats service is very pure and time is no way.. some time wait in bas stand in 1 hr or 2 hrs or many time is more hrs... after in DTC bus Checker is normally slopes in a 10 to 15 min for a ticket checking reasons.. I just on question That is in DTC rules where is mention the bus is totally stopes in stand and they are checking the tickets or collected the ticket... Normally we are general middle class public, Service man and also if we are late present the half in the private company sectors.. 1st waiting to a bus when buses is came after stopes a mins in just for a cheking reason.. That is DTC rules as followed the court order.. How many time we are travel in this matter... (Delhi Bus Travel Public) Thanking You.

I was use to Bus Rt. 340. That rute service is very pure and only one Bus RT is available in Vivek Vihar, Jhilmil (ESI Hospital), Surajmal Vihar etc..

I WAS TRAVELLED IN THE BUS NO. DL IP C 9306 VIDE TICKET NO. 04304. ORIGINAL BUS ROUTE IS IGI AIRPORT TO MEHRAUI. BUT THE BUS TERMINATED AT LADO SARAI. HUNDRED OF PEOPLE SUFFERING DUE TO THIS . MOST OF THE BUSES PLYING BETWEEN IGI AIRPORT AND MEHRAULI HAD TERMINATED THEIR SERVICE T LADO SARAI. PLEASE LOOK IN TO MATTER AND DO THE NEEDFULL.

dear sir, we are requesting to u plz increase the service of bus rout number 715.we have to face many problems in the morning and evening. due to your minimum bus service of 715. daily we are late for office.and only single service available of 715.there no other bus available on same rout palam fatak to mahipalpur and 715 comes overloaded.plz increse the sevice of 715 rout and give some more buses on same rout of 715

i am the regular passenger of bus no. 615. i noticed that dtc fleet running on the route always put their buses behind the blue line buses. it is requested to put a stop on these practices so as to earn profit.

sir,isn`t ridiculus that all of a sudden dtc takes such drastic step of stoping route no.965 which was running for couple of years together giving marvlous service with such a good driver.why swithed over the route to 910? when it is convinient to office goers as well as for the senior citizens,we feel the route should continue so that people who are landing at pusa road etc. are convinienced.kindly look into the matter and add some more buses to and fro paschim vihar.
