Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K
Rosaiah today said the issue of appointing a deputy chief
minister could be looked into at a later stage.
“Such things can be looked into in a calm atmosphere,"
Rosaiah said while reacting to MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi's
demand for appointing a leader from Telangana region as the
deputy chief minister in the wake of ongoing agitation for a
separate state.
On the demand for effective implementation of GO 610
related to repatriation of non-local employees from Telangana
region, the Chief Minister said the exercise was already
on.
"A House Committee of state Assembly has already looked
into the issue. Besides, the government has also carried out
some exercise. But we are ready to work out a mechanism for
deliberations on effective implementation of the GO," Rosaiah
told reporters after the end of the Assembly session today.
