Patna: The son of a former MP and JD-U
leader Vijay Krishna, was arrested tonight in connection with
his father's aide and transporter Satyendra Singh murder case,
police said here.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a place on West Boring
Canal road here and arrested Chanakya.
He was evading arrest in the case for the past seven
months, police said.
The former MP is currently on bail in the murder case.
Satyendra Singh was killed and his body was dumped in the
river ganga, which was later recovered from the outskirts of
Patna in June 2009.
