Govt wants metro link to IGI: Hooda

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said there was a proposal to connect parts of Gurgaon with Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi through Metro rail.

In addition, 750 low-floor intracity buses would be introduced to improve connectivity. About 150 such buses would start plying in Gurgaon soon, he said at a village in Gurgaon, according to an official release here.

Survey was being done for regularizing the unauthorized colonies. While survey was complete in 13 colonies, it was underway in 38 other clusters.

Hooda also dedicated two railway overbridges constructed at a cost of Rs 42 crore in Gurgaon.
