Hyderabad: Health and Medical facilities
should be accessible to all in terms of cost and place, said
Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan Saturday.
Not many people will be able to come to state
headquarters for medical treatment. So, private hospitals
should device a plan to reach them at their places, the
Governor said after the inauguration of Apollo Super Specialty
Cancer Hospital Saturday.
"Affordability is the main factor for poor people.
Even after many programmes undertaken by you (private
hospitals) and the Government, the reach out is limited,"
Narasimhan said adding, "Sometimes I get a feeling that we are
burning the candle allover not only just both the ends."
He said the State Government will come forward and
work with private hospitals in giving better healthcare
facilities to the people of the State.
