Patna: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad on Thursday accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of failing to handle the crisis arising out of the kidnapping of policemen after the encounter with Maoists in Lakhisarai district.

"The state is insensitive and inhuman...the policemen continue to sacrifice their lives but still there is no care for them and their families...what will compensation do after families lose their near and dear ones," Prasad asked.

He alleged no initiative was taken for securing release of the hostages and appealed to the ultras to shun the path of violence and free the captives unconditionally.

"Violence is no way to solve a problem...the Maoists must shun it and release the hostages without any condition as they are like their brothers," he said.

lalu should understand that the naxal problem is the fall out of misrule of leaders like him. whatever is saying is understandably for gaining political mileage. after a long period of misrule in bihar by lalu & rabri he has lost his credibility and he has reduced himself to a bundle of jokes.

lalloo should keep his mouth shut. it is during his tenure as cm the maoists got a foothold and spread their operations far and wide in bihar. has he forgotten how the dm mr. krishnaiaah was butchered in full public view. he has no business to talk about mr. nitish`s handling of the situation. probabaly mr. lalloo is talking keeping the imepnding bihar polls. it is imperative that the politicians if they cannot help to solve the problem they better keep their mouth shut. the only way the maoists problem can be solved is by taking them head on. the so called human activists, sympathiers etc should be put behind bars and moaists should be finished once and for all with impunity. it is possible some innocents too would die but that is the price the country has to pay for a peaceful future. the developmental activity should be taken up simultaneously with the tribal community as equal partners. there is no use of calling them brothers and woo them to talks and see them butchering the police and the innocent villagers in the garb of being informers
