Gumla (Jharkhand): A 40-year old man was
shot dead by Maoists at Basua village in Gumla district on Sunday, months after the killing of two other members of the same family by the Naxalites.
Police said the left wing ultras pumped in bullets
into M Ansari killing him on the spot.
The Naxalites had killed Ansari's two nephews in the
district last year and reportedly left a note vowing to
eliminate all the members of the household for the family's
alleged indulgence in extortion activities and alleged role in
the death of some villagers.
