Kohima: After holding talks with Central
leaders, NSCN-IM 'general secretary' Th Muivah on Thursday arrived
at Dimapur to hold consultations with various groups on the
peace process and finding an honourable settlement to the
decades-old Naga political conflict.
After his arrival at the airport in Nagaland's
financial capital, he told newsmen that "both the Central
government and NSCN-IM were committed towards finding a
negotiated settlement of the vexed problem".
Muivah arrived in New Delhi on February 27 from
Amsterdam and held series of meetings with Prime Minister
Manmohan Singh, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and Centre's
new interlocutor R S Pandey.
He said in Nagaland, he would also hold consultations
on various issues with Naga tribal councils, civil society
organisations, NGOs, church leaders during his stay at Camp
Hebron -- NSCN-IM's headquarters about 35 km south of Dimapur.
