Hyderabad: A delegation from the Delhi-
based National Defence College today met Andhra Pradesh Chief
Minister K Rosaiah at Secretariat here.
The delegation, which is on a study tour to various
states, is now in Andhra Pradesh. They are on a study of the
economy, development programmes, national and international
security strategy among other issues.
The team members opined that Andhra Pradesh, being a
leader in sectors like IT, ITES and biotechnology, they wanted
to study the development activities here, an official release
said.
The Chief Minister explained that internal security
continues to be a sensitive problem in Andhra Pradesh too.
He said his government is concentrating on development and
welfare programmes for the common man.
Rosaiah said his Government is implementing many
social welfare schemes for the inclusive growth.
"The fruits of economic growth and development should
reach the poorest of the poor. That is our ultimate aim," the
release quoted the CM as saying.
