Hyderabad: A delegation from the Delhi- based National Defence College today met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah at Secretariat here.

The delegation, which is on a study tour to various states, is now in Andhra Pradesh. They are on a study of the economy, development programmes, national and international security strategy among other issues.

The team members opined that Andhra Pradesh, being a leader in sectors like IT, ITES and biotechnology, they wanted to study the development activities here, an official release said.

The Chief Minister explained that internal security continues to be a sensitive problem in Andhra Pradesh too. He said his government is concentrating on development and welfare programmes for the common man.

Rosaiah said his Government is implementing many social welfare schemes for the inclusive growth.

"The fruits of economic growth and development should reach the poorest of the poor. That is our ultimate aim," the release quoted the CM as saying.
