Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the chief minister's meeting on price rise at New Delhi, Orissa government on Friday said it would strongly raise the issue which had affected common people.
"We will certainly pick it up in a very strong
manner", Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik told reporters before
leaving for New Delhi to attend the chief ministers' meeting
on price rise tomorrow.
Stating that there had been stiff price rise of all
essential commodities, Patnaik said, "The Centre must help
states in this regard."
People across the country had been suffering a lot due
to price rise, he said. "It must be contained at the interest
of the people."
