Hyderabad: Oasis Centre for Reproductive
Medicine, promoted by Sadguru Healthcare Services, is offering
efficient and evidence-based medical care to women with
gynaecological problems including conception.
The Centre claimed that such healthcare service in the
city is for the first time in the country.
Minister for Cultural Affairs and Tourism J Geetha Reddy
inaugurated the Centre and Managing Director of Fernandez
Hospital Dr Evita Fernandez unveiled the super specialty
clinics at the facility.
Dr Durga Rao, a specialist in reproductive medicine, said
that infertility affects nearly 10-15 per cent of couples in
the reproductive age group in India. She said the advanced
state-of-the-art treatment followed in Oasis will open up more
options and allow for more suitable choices for women.
Oasis will also provide multitude of women reproductive
healthcare services including state-of-the-art equipment for
storage and freezing of sperms, eggs and embryo storage. The
focus is to provide optimal and quality infertility
treatments.
Making the announcement Kiran Gedelaa, Managing Director
of Sadguru Healthcare Services, said Oasis provides
counselling and assist couples who have difficulty in
conceiving with the availability of highly skilled and trained
professionals backed by proven technology, sophisticated
laboratories and equipment.
To complement the fertility treatments, Oasis offers
advanced minimally invasive surgeries like laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy. Various specialist clinics have been setup that
deal with hormonal disorders, treatment of adverse symptoms of
menopause and wellness programmes including general health
checkups.
At Oasis, the couples are guided towards the best line of
management to enable parenthood. Women with reproductive
endocrinological problems are screened, counselled and treated
