Patna: Patna High Court on Monday dismissed JD(U)
MLA Vijay Kumar alias Munna Shukla's bail application in
connection with the murder of RJD MLA Brij Bihari Prasad 11
years ago.
A Division Bench comprising Justices C M Prasad and D D
Jha rejected the bail prayer of the MLA, who is facing
life-term in the murder case.
Brij Bihari Prasad, a former Bihar minister and his
bodyguard were gunned down when he was admitted at the Indira
Gandhi Institute of Medical Science here in 1998.
A CBI court had on August 12 found him guilty of the
killing and sent him to life imprisonment.
