Hyderabad: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will make an aerial survey of the flood-hit districts of Andhra Pradesh on Friday. Some changes in his schedule have been made, an official said.

According to Minister for Revenue and Relief Dharamana Prasada Rao, the prime minister will arrive in Vijayawada by a special aircraft from New Delhi at 11.10 am and will survey flood-hit Krishna and Guntur districts by helicopter.

Manmohan Singh will then land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here at 12.45 pm and hold a meeting with Chief Minister K Rosaiah and top officials to review relief operations. He will see a power point presentation made by the officials and will also view a photo exhibition portraying the havoc caused by the floods.

At 2 pm, he will again leave for an aerial survey of Kurnool and Mahbubnagar districts to see the damage caused by the floods, billed as the worst in 100 years.

Singh will also survey flood-hit Raichur district in neighbouring Karnataka. He will return here at 5.15 pm and will then leave for New Delhi.
