New Delhi: Police have taken a self-styled godman arrested for allegedly running a multi-crore sex racket in the capital to Mathura for further investigation.

Sources said Shiv Murat Dwivedi (39) alias Ichchadhari Sant Swami Bhimanand Ji Maharaj Chitrakoot Wale, who was caught with one of his associates and six women, was taken to Mathura's Gowardhan locality as he had an ashram there three years ago.

He was taken to the Uttar Pradesh town late last night.

Stringent provisions of MCOCA have been invoked against the self-styled godman caught for running a multi-crore sex racket in the capital, who police claim was "eyeing big donations" from foreign agencies, including Christian missionaries.

According to the police, Dwivedi, a self-claimed Sai Baba devotee, was earning money through five channels: real estate, money lending, prostitution, donations and by conducting religious programmes.
