Chandigarh: Rukhsana, who shot into limelight for killing an LeT militant, is still waiting to get a reward for killing the militant who was carrying a cash prize of Rs 8.5 lakh on his head.

"The government has still not given them (Rukhsana and Aijaz) the reward of Rs 8.5 lakh for killing the LeT militant Abu Osama," All India Anti Terrorist Front Chairman M S Bitta alleged at a press conference here today. Also present on the occasion were Rukhsana, her brother Aijaz, father Noor Ahmed and mother Rashida.

Rukhsana, along with her 18-year-old brother Aijaz had overpowered terrorists who had barged into their house at Shahdra Sharief in Rajouri on September 27, snatched an AK-47 from one of them and fired at him, killing him on the spot.

Her uncle Wakalat Hussain was also injured in the incident.

During the conference, Rukhsana reiterated her demand to the government to give her a permanent job in paramilitary force.

She had already rejected an offer of Jammu and Kashmir Police for appointing her as Special Police Officer. "I want that I and my brother should be given permanent job in Central forces like CRPF, BSF etc," she said.

Rukhsana also demanded that a six-month army training should be given to children of the state so that they could fight the terrorists and give a befitting reply to them.

Bitta said that no political party or any government is ready to support Rukhsana and her family to avoid any hostile action from militants. "If any untoward thing happens with Rukhsana or her family the government and all political parties would be responsible for it," he said.

Hi great Indian useless and lazy politicians and bureaucrats, settle the credit now. Or further your dignity will increase in negative side. Know that your dignity was already ZERO.

It is ridiculous that a national heroine is being denied the award money of killing a dreaded terrorist. Is this a case where government want to protect the terror culprits from an hostile mass who are increasingly becoming intolerant of the violence permitted by the state and non state actors.Who would be responsible for the failure of an alternative.Do we to return to jungle raj.
