New Delhi: Concerned over the spiralling prices of essential commodities, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday asked Delhiites to intimate the government about hoarders and black marketers in the capital.

The people should keep a close watch on activities of profiteers, black marketers and hoarders. They should intimate such activities to the government at the earliest to enable it to take strict action, she said after opening a "Jeevan" citizen service centre in the Walled city.

She said the Centre would provide a one-stop-shop for various requirements of the citizens, be it payment of electricity, telephone, water, sewage bills and issuance of various certificates such as income certificate.

The Chief Minister noted that as many as 36 departments and agencies would provide hasslefree services.

The Government plans to commission a total 520 Jeeven centres of which 250 have already become functional in the city.

The Government has identified 106 government to citizen services under its ambitious Jeeven project which has been launched with an aim to ensure transparency, certainty and accountability in service delivery to both citizen and business.
