Jaipur: The Rajasthan government today
claimed that it's efforts has given relief from inflation,
while restraining black marketing and adulteration to some
extent.
Rajasthan Food and Civil Supply minister Babu Lal Naagar
today said that various campaigns and schemes launched by the
state government has given significant results.
He said that arrangements were made to make wheat and
pulses available to public at cheaper rates under 'Aata-Daal'
scheme, and a total of 18 lakh kg wheat and 61,000 kg pulses
were supplied so far at divisional headquarter level.
The minister claimed that under scheme 'Khuli-Bikri', in
which customers are provided wheat at Rs 12.5 per kg without
any limit, 86,932 metric tonne wheat has been supplied so far
in the state including the drought hit 26 districts from
October this year.
Naagar told reporters that the state has imported pulses,
which are being supplied at Rs 47 per kg in seven divisional
headquarters.
He said that campaigns against black marketing and
adulteration launched in June this year has also yielded good
results and would continue.
According to him, various teams under the campaigns have
collected 11,305 samples so far, and 50 FIR lodged in the
state.
