Baripada (Orissa): Two hardcore Maoists,
allegedly involved in burning a forest beat house in Similipal
National Park, were on Saturday arrested from Orissa's Mayurbhanj
district, the police said.
The police said Debendra Purty and Ramrai Bari of Bada
Uski village in Jashipur police station area, were nabbed
during a special operation conducted on the basis of
intelligence, they said.
"The duo were involved in setting fire on a forest
beat house at Uski and giving shelter to the Maoist guerrillas
from outside the state in the national park," Mayurbhanj
district Additional S P Chintamani Panda said.
