Varanasi: A Samajwadi party MLA has been
booked for allegedly assaulting and looting a man, 60
kilometres from here, police said on Tuesday.
Arun Yadav, son of BJP MP Ramakant Yadav has been booked
following a complaint by V K Singh who charged the local MLA
from Phoolpur area for assaulting him and later looting his
pick-up van alongwith his accomplices, when he was heading
towards Shahganj from Jaunpur.
Further investigation in the case is on, they said,
adding no arrests have been made so far.
