Bhopal: A 16-year-old girl has died of swine
flu in Indore, taking the toll due to the deadly virus to 21
in Madhya Pradesh, health officials said on Thursday.
The girl, hailing from adjoining Dewas district tested
positive for the HINI virus, breathed her last at Maharaja
Yashwantrao Hospital yesterday, they said.
Twenty-one people have died due to swine flu in Madhya
Pradesh so far, State Health Director, Ashok Sharma, said to a news agency on Thursday here.
He said 15 persons have died of the deadly virus in
Indore, two each in Bhopal and Jabalpur, one each in Neemuch
and Ujjain.
Dr Sharma said the state was having sufficient stock of
medicine to treat swine flu patients.
