Mumbai: A total of 300 people have so far
died of swine flu in Maharashtra, health officials said today.
Till date, 18,94,529 people have been examined for the
virus and 1,12,264 suspected patients have been administered
Tamiflu, they said.
The number of people who tested positive for the H1N1
influenza is 5,604, of whom 5,243 have been treated and
discharged.
Altogether 159 persons, including 61 positive and 98
suspected cases, are still being treated at various hospitals
in the state, the officials said.
