Mumbai: A total of 290 people have so far
died of swine flu in Maharashtra, health officials said today.
Till date, 18,46,125 people have been examined for the
virus and 1,08,210 suspected patients have been administered
Tamiflu, they said.
The number of people who tested positive for the H1N1
influenza is 5,470, of whom 5,102 have been treated and
discharged.
Altogether 163 persons, including 78 positive and 85
suspected cases, are still being treated at various hospitals
in the state, the officials said.
