New Delhi: Trinamool Congress MPs today staged a sit-in outside Parliament House to protest "state- sponsored" terrorism in West Bengal and urge the Centre to "act against" the ruling CPI-M to prevent political violence.

Ahead of the session, the MPs, carrying placards, gathered in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi inside the Parliament precincts and raised slogans against the Left Front government.

The party's Chief Whip in Lok Sabha, Sudip Bandopadhyay, said, "The CPI-M has been carrying out state- sponsored terrorism in the name of fighting the Maoists. A large number of people have been killed".

He said the Centre should intervene and take steps "to prevent the CPI-M from perpetrating political violence".

Those who participated in the protest sit-in included Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, Kabir Suman, Tapas Pal, Shatabdi Roy, Suvendu Adhikari, Ratna De, Nurul Islam and G C Naskar.

All these MPs ( not only Ms Satabdi Roy and Tapas Pal ) appear to have good acting talent as how far they want to show street demonstrations and their acting skill. No matter how much they project themselves as very innocent people which clearly they are not. Unfortunately for all the killings taking place in Bengal these days all the parties - Congress, TMC and CPM are all equally guilty and responsible ! Why same NATAK everyday ?
