Srinagar: At least two civilians were injured when suspected militants hurled a grenade on a mobile bunker of CRPF in Sopore town of North Kashmir, police said on Monday.

Unidentified militants threw the grenade on the mobile bunker of 177th battalion of CRPF last night in Sopore, 55 kms from here, they said, adding the device missed the target and exploded on the road injuring two pedestrians.

The injured were later hospitalised.

No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the incident so far, the police said.

Yesterday, unidentified militants hurled a grenade at a group of CRPF personnel at Pather Masjid near Maharaj Gunj Police Station in which a jawan was killed and five others injured.
