Etawah (UP): Two persons were killed in a
group clash in Bansari village in the district following an
altercation over irrigating their agricultural fields, a
senior police official said Tuesday.
After a quarrel over irrigating their fields with water
from a tubewell, rival factions opened fire at each other last
night, Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Pradhan said.
Police rushed to the spot after getting the information
and found two bodies at the scene.
Both the factions have lodged FIRs against each other
this morning, naming more than six persons, the SSP said
adding that investigations are on.
