Hyderabad: Fourteen persons including five
children were killed and eight others sustained injuries in
two different road accidents in Andhra Pradesh Sunday.
In Nalgonda district, 12 persons including five children
and four women were killed when a tractor in which they were
travelling overturned and plunged into a roadside lake near
Chennarigudem village, police said.
The mishap occurred when the victims were returning after
visiting a temple. The injured were admitted to a hospital at
Kodad.
In Vizianagaram district, two persons were killed on the
spot and three others injured when a lorry collided against a
vehicle coming from opposite direction at Choudantivalsa.
