Woman succumbs to Swine Flu in Indore; toll reaches 21

Indore: Death toll due to Swine Fly rose to 21 here with a woman succumbing to the deadly H1N1 virus, health department officials said on Monday.

Arti Raghuvanshi (21) died on March 12 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital, her swab sample report which came yesterday confirmed that she carried the H1N1 virus, they said.

She had come here from the adjoining district Khargone for treatment.

With her death, 15 women out of 21 have died so far of the Swine Flu, they said.

Cases of 289 people suspected to be suffering from Swine Flue have come to the light in Indore since the outbreak of the disease. Of these, 61 have been tested positive for H1N1 virus so far, they said.
