Won`t say yes or no to Telangana: Srikrishna Committee

Hyderabad: The five-member Srikrishna Committee Friday said it would not say yes or no to the formation of a separate Telangana state but would only look into the issue in accordance with the terms of reference given by the government.

The committee, which is looking into the demands for and views against separate Telangana state, will initiate the process of wide consultations next month.

Winding up a two-day preliminary visit to Hyderabad, Justice B.N. Srikrishna told reporters here that consultations with political parties, individuals and all stakeholders would begin early April.

Committee should only see the circumstances and background activity which led to a separate telangana move ment. It must do it. then only we can catch all the anti-social elements. There is no law and order at all. people are not affraid to threat publicly on screen. They are using filthy language and are getting away scot free. Now you can saywithout fear that you will rob a bank and nothing happens to you

If Srikrishna Committee wont say either yes or no to Telengana, would it say both yes AND no to it. In that case, why waste taxpayers money on such a Committee?
