Police sources said 25-year-old Gurucharan Naik was
rushed to the district headquarter hospital where doctors
declared him brought dead last evening.
The sources said Gurucharan, a marginal farmer was
suspected to have taken the extreme step after being unable to
repay a loan which he had taken from the local cooperative.
The police were investigating the exact cause of death
of the farmer.
Rourkela: A farmer died after drinking
