Amethi: Decks have been cleared for
setting up of a long-awaited CRPF training centre in
Trisundi-Ramganj area here with the UPSIDC providing 343 acres
of land for the purpose.
Officials of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial
Development Centre said today that it has been decided to give
the required land for setting up the training centre after a
special request by the CRPF in this regard.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress MP Rahul
Gandhi had made an announcement in this regard three years
ago.
The tehsildar of Amethi, Dinesh Chandra, said the
work related to the measurement of land was underway after
which it would be formally handed over for setting the centre.
