Muzaffarnagar: A local court Thursday issued non-bailable warrants against Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) President Mahendra Singh Tikait and its Secretary Harpal Singh after they failed to appear in the court in connection with an 17-year-old case for disrupting railway traffic.

The Bareilly railway station police filed the case against the BKU leaders in 1992 under Railway Act for disrupting rail-traffic during an agitation, the prosecution told the Bareily court.
