New Delhi: In view of rising cases of swine flu in the city, Delhi Health Minister Kiran Walia today directed officials concerned to take all possible steps to control spread of the disease in the city.

At a high-level meeting, Walia also asked medical superintendents of the government hospitals treating swine flu patients to offer best possible treatment to affected people.

A total of 177 people tested positive for the H1N1 virus today.

"The meeting basically discussed ways and means to further enhanced the health infrastructure in the city," a senior official of the Health department said.
