Nashik: Diarrhoea epidemic has claimed nine lives in the nearby powerloom town of Malegaon area, so far-eight in rural areas while one in Malegaon city.
A total of 128 patients are being treated in government hospitals, an official press release stated here today.
Attempts are being made by the administration to control the disease in Malegaon and an adequate Health Department staff has been send to Malegaon with sufficient medicines, the release added.
82 patients are in general hospital, 20 in Wadia hospital and 26 in Ali Akbar hospital, the officials said.
