Digvijay Singh discusses poll strategy with Maha Cong leaders

Mumbai: As part of the assembly poll preparations, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Thursday held a meeting with party functionaries and senior ministers from Western Maharashtra.

The meeting was held at the state unit headquarters "Tilak Bhavan" in central Mumbai.

The discussions pertained to deliberations on the election preparedness and Singh sought feedback on the ground realities, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) General Secretary Sanjay Dutt said.

He held separate meetings with Ministers Balasaheb Thorat, Harshvardhan Patil, Dilip Deshmukh, Ravishet Patil.

Singh is member of the A K Anthony committee appointed by the AICC for the state assembly elections.

The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister has been assigned 12 Lok Sabha constituencies in the Western Maharashtra region.
