Yavatmal: Four persons were killed and 13
others injured in two separate incidents in Maregaon tehsil
here, police said Friday.
Two persons were killed and 11 others injured when the
car carrying them rammed into a tree near Maregaon tehsil here
on Tuesday, they said.
The incident occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost
control over the steering following which the vehicle rammed
into the tree Hemlata Vishvanath Khobragade and Maroti
Indurkar on the spot, they said.
The 11 injured were given first aid at the Maregaon
government hospital and later shifted to Chandrapur for
further treatment, police added.
In an other incident, two labourers were killed and two
others injured when the tractor carrying them overturned at
the Rampur Ghat in Maregaon tehsil yesterday, police said.
The driver of the vehicle lost control over the steering
following which the tractor fell into a valley killing
Pradip Gajanan Meshram (27) and Suresh Lalu Tekam (30).
