New Delhi: Continuing with his guessing game, Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) leader Kuldeep Bishnoi on Friday said that his party is open to alliances and will announce its final decision by Friday evening.
“Situation will only be clear by today evening, but one thing is clear that our party will be part of the next government. We will join hands with one of the parties to form the government,” Bishnoi said.
Bishnoi further opened up the game by saying, “We are getting calls from both the Congress and INLD to support them in forming the government,”
Interestingly, the Congress has already staked claim to form the next government. State Congress president Phool Chand Mullana, took the letter from the party as well as letters of support from the six Independent legislators to Governor Jagannath Pahadia today morning.
Moreover, Mullana, after meeting the Governor said that he hasn’t had any talks with Bishnoi yet.
Commenting on the chief ministerial issue, Bishnoi said, “We don’t have any issue whosoever taking the CM’s chair. Our party only wants to work for the people.”
HJC is being eyed by both the Congress and the INLD in tier bid to form government. The Congress, although can form government without his support, wants him as his seven MLAs can come in as a chunk and provide stability to the next government.
On the other hand, for the INLD, Bishnoi forms the core of any real attempt to capture power as they have secured just 31 seats.
