Srinagar: A senior professor of University
of Kashmir has been selected for 'National Saraswati Award' by
the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Dean Faculty of Education, NA Nadeem became the first
professor in the state to be selected for the award, spokesman
of Kashmir University Shoukat Shafi said.
Quoting the UGC communication, the spokesman said, "The
award is given to Prof Nadeem in recognition of his
outstanding scholarly contribution in the chosen field of
work."
