Keylong, the headquarters of Lahaul-Spiti district, was the coldest place in the state with a night temperature of minus 8.9 degree celsius, the Met office said.

Kalpa in Kinnaur district had a night temperature of minus 3.3 degrees.

In the Queen of the Hills, however, the day temperature was recorded at a comfortable 15.7 degrees while the mercury settled at a low of 4.7 degrees at night.
