Jaipur: Filing of nomination for the bypolls on two assembly seats in Rajasthan slated to be held on November seven began Wednesday with the issuance of notification, an official said.
The two assembly seats -- Todabheem and Salumber—fell vacant after resignation of Kirorilal Meena and Raghuveer Meena, both of whom had won the Lok Sabha polls from Dausa and Udaipur constituencies respectively.
Last date of filing nomination papers is October 21, scrutiny of papers on October 22, and withdrawal of papers will take place on October 24.
No political party, including ruling Congress and the Opposition BJP, has announced their candidates so far.
